When Your Friend Is Toxic | Rosita Godycki

My best friend of 17 years, Rosita Godycki, is back on the show! This time, we’re talking about toxic friendships. Specifically, how to recognize a toxic friendship, how to tell the difference between a friend who is toxic and one who challenges you to grow in ways you’re not comfortable with, how to end the relationship after you realize it’s toxic, and how to manage the relationship when you’re not able to end it; as is commonly the case if they’re a family member or colleague.

In an interesting turn of the tables, we also talk about how to recognize if you’re the toxic person in the relationship and what you can to be a better friend.

Real Talk

In this Real Talk segment, I respond to a listener who is experiencing the all-too-familiar struggle of finding a good work-life balance. This listener in particular is an entrepreneur who feels guilty when she is working instead of spending time with her family.

Even if you’re not an entrepreneur, this is something almost every mother and woman experiences and it’s something I’m passionate about helping all my listeners with by providing some tips for how to find that balance and remove the guilt.

Don’t forget! Text the word “join” to 38470 to get on my newsletter for monthly inspiration, tips, and encouragement for sometimes struggling superwomen.
