Women and the Right Types of Rest | Dr. Saundra Dalton-Smith

Dr. Saundra Dalton-Smith is a Board Certified Internist, mama, and motivational speaker. She is also the author of a book that personally blew me away when I read it; Sacred Rest: Recover Your Life, Renew Your Energy, Restore Your Sanity. After reading the book, I knew I just had to have her on the show.

In this episode, we talk about how sleep and rest are two different things, why women aren’t getting the proper types of rest, the seven types of rest women should be getting, why a vacation doesn’t count as rest, how to get more rest in an already busy day, the importance of learning how to just be with yourself, how to manage the guilt that comes with getting more rest, and so much more!
